Provide reception support to all health staff and service to the public. The Team: Located on the stunning East Coast of Tasmania, St. Helens District Hospital has Tasmania’s busiest rural emergency department, with an increase in emergency presentations during peak tourist season from December until April. The hospital provides a fast‑paced environment that delivers high quality patient centred care. Our focus is on providing excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community. The Role: To provide effective and efficient administrative and clerical support services to the Director of Nursing and staff at St Helens Hospital and Community Service Centre. You will need: Provide administrative, clerical and reception support services with an expectation to exercise discretion and initiative in carrying out tasks. Input and retrieve patient record information using the patient administrative computer system, including movements related to episodes of care changes. Receive, maintain and dispatch all patient records, and archive annually. Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative systems which ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures and promote a quality improvement approach to the delivery of administrative services. Details of appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 22.5 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
