The Opportunity
We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for highly skilled Electrical Engineers for upcoming mining projects to contribute their expertise.
As an Electrical Engineer, your position can involve overseeing the design, planning, execution and maintenance of mining projects related to power generation and transmission, fixed plant equipment, bulk materials handling equipment or heavy mobile equipment.
The role carries significant responsibilities in terms of ensuring that engineering and technical activities are conducted effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will play a crucial role in the successful completion and operation of projects, which directly impacts the company's reputation, client satisfaction, and overall business success.
Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the electrical technical scope of projects, providing electrical engineering support to site-based engineers and projects teams.Provide technical advice to planning and site-based maintenance teams to ensure the safety and integrity of electrical systems across the business.Perform electrical calculations and produce electrical documentation in a hands-on manner, utilizing technical expertise to maintain quality and accuracy.Carry out electrical design and project tasks, following Australian standards.Propose and implement solutions for complex equipment challenges.Contribute to identifying, developing, and executing improvement projects.Support ongoing enhancements to electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for operational reliability and KPI reporting.Investigate electrical system failures and implement measures to improve reliability.Use statistical tools to analyze failure data and improve equipment reliability.Work with operations and maintenance teams to enhance overall equipment performance.Take ownership of the electrical technical scope of projects, providing electrical engineering support to site-based engineers and projects teams.Provide technical advice to planning and site-based maintenance teams to ensure the safety and integrity of electrical systems across the business.Perform electrical calculations and produce electrical documentation in a hands-on manner, utilizing technical expertise to maintain quality and accuracy.Carry out electrical design and project tasks, following Australian standards.Propose and implement solutions for complex equipment challenges.Contribute to identifying, developing, and executing improvement projects.Support ongoing enhancements to electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for operational reliability and KPI reporting.Investigate electrical system failures and implement measures to improve reliability.Use statistical tools to analyze failure data and improve equipment reliability.Work with operations and maintenance teams to enhance overall equipment performance.About You
