The role
This is a fantastic time to join GPT as the General Manager Marketing, Campaigns and Content. This leadership role responsible for the effective development and implementation of GPT retail marketing campaigns, content and programs across all owned, earned and paid channels.
Working within the Retail Management Team, this key role will work closely with the Head of Digital & Marketing to deliver key marketing, digital and experiential programs and retail initiatives to set up the function for both short and long term success, ensuring a deep understanding of the retail and brand strategy and that customers are at the heart of all current and future activity.
This role is responsible for the development of all marketing programming, making sure it resonates locally while utilising national strategies, campaigns and content.
What you will be doing
Leading and developing integrated marketing and digital programs across all retail categories, in-centre execution and digital.
Championing the customer, using insights to drive and develop customer focused strategies to enhance the digital and in-centre experience; including Quantium data, The Hive, WiFi and online insights.
Leading and working with the National Campaign Manager to create and implement national campaign and community initiatives to ensure financial efficiencies and portfolio best practice in execution.
Leading the national digital team to develop key digital initiatives to drive engagement and acquisition across social and digital channels and enhance the customer experience.
Driving the development and execution of our brand, audience and content strategy, overseeing the content production and design teams to bring these strategies to life.
Developing unique customer experiences (events, activations and services) that provide a point of difference for GPT.
Managing the national campaign team and the national digital team ensuring efficiencies are achieved across the group and that key digital initiatives drive engagement and enhance the customer experience.
Developing and maintaining a framework to benchmark results for lead generation campaigns and championing the marketing and digital function by showcasing results
What makes you stand out
This is a senior role that requires a seasoned marketing leader with a demonstrable track record leading a marketing and/or brand function at group level. Tertiary qualified, you will have led the creation and execution of national campaigns and digital initiatives across multiple brands; as well as innovative event management and site activation in a fast-paced, customer centric environment.
We are seeking a pragmatic, hands-on leader with strong analytical and ROI experience and exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills. Equally as important will strong project management, planning and organisational skills as well as your ability to accept, manage and implement change.
Retail and/or property experience would be advantageous.
