Appointment will be based on your experience at either the LSC2 or LSC3 classification level LSC2 – $86,824 to $93,227 per annum pro rata plus the 15% allowance and superannuation. LSC3 – $101,768 to $111,920 per annum pro rata plus the 15% allowance and superannuation. As a not‑for‑profit organisation, Legal Services is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre‑tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses. Term of Employment Ongoing contract available at the LSC2 or LSC3 classification level, based on experience. The role will primarily be based in Whyalla working with files, clients and teams in Whyalla and Port Augusta. What You Need for Success The ideal candidate will be appointed based on their experience at either the LSC2 or LSC3 classification level and will be able to demonstrate the following: Deliver high quality, concise advice by assessing problems logically, thoroughly and reliably with due skill and diligence. Communicate effectively with persons from a wide range of backgrounds, understanding and responding appropriately to cultural, ethnic and indigenous differences and to persons with a physical or mental illness. Have experience in legal practice, legal research, preparation of legal correspondence, court documentation and the justice system generally. Possess knowledge of family law, child protection law, practice and the law of evidence in South Australia. LSC3 Specific Requirements Hold an unrestricted Category C Practising Certificate or be currently eligible to apply for one. Be an admitted practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia and High Court of Australia or eligible for admission. Possess a minimum of 5 years post‑admission legal experience. LSC2 Specific Requirements Hold an unrestricted Category C Practising Certificate or be currently eligible to apply for one. Be an admitted practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia and High Court of Australia or eligible for admission. Possess a minimum of 2 years post‑admission legal experience.
