General Manager Organisational Services ) Drive organisational performance, strategic leadership, and service excellence across Redland City. Redland City Council is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking General Manager Organisational Services to lead a diverse portfolio spanning seven functional groups and a workforce of 250+ employees across multiple Council locations. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the organisation’s future by driving high performance, financial sustainability, safety, and a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead the development and delivery of short‑ and long‑term strategies across a broad range of corporate and community services, ensuring strong alignment with Council’s Corporate Plan. The role also plays a pivotal part in strengthening governance frameworks, enterprise risk management, performance reporting, and delivering exceptional customer service. As the statutory Local Disaster Coordinator, you will ensure Council’s readiness and coordinate multi‑agency responses to major incidents and disasters across the city. You will also serve as a project sponsor at the executive level and contribute to key strategic initiatives through active participation on steering committees. This role includes the opportunity to act as CEO when required. You will provide expert, timely advice and support to the Mayor, CEO, and Councillors within a complex legislative environment and politically sensitive context.
