We're looking for someone professional, friendly and warm, but willing to be firm when it matters. What you’ll need A love for people A love of guiding and educating An eye for detail and colour Great communication skills It would be great if you also have Design experience in the building industry (as a pre‑start consultant, interior designer, client liaison or tile / finishes consultant) Building plan literacy and the ability to spot discrepancies early Confidence with computers and software such as Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook. We’ll teach you our other software Current product knowledge across finishes and fixtures First‑hand experience building homes, so you understand the client journey What you’ll be doing Facilitating pre‑start preparation sessions and new‑home selections Selecting finishes and fixtures aligned to budget, brief and builder specifications Visiting tile and flooring showrooms with clients Preparing documentation: marking up cabinetry and electrical plans; typing variations Liaising with clients, trades and suppliers Maintaining accurate records in the project management system Setting clients up for pre‑start so they feel confident and clear on decisions Happy House Co. is a growing brand working with new homeowners, builders, investors and developers.
