Stores & Supply Officer Job No : JR Cairns Private Hospital Permanent Clinical Support - Technician / Orderley Environmental Services - Cleaner / Laundry About the Role We are looking for a proactive and reliable Stores and Supply Officer to join our busy Stores Department on a permanent full‑time basis. This is a practical role so you will need to handle manual tasks safely and efficiently while keeping our hospital running smoothly. What you will do: Keep hospital departments stocked with the items they need when they need them. Order receive and store stock safely and efficiently. Maintain stock levels and follow hospital inventory policies. Generate usage reports to help manage stock and support hospital operations. If you are organised, proactive and enjoy a hands‑on role in a supportive team this is the role for you Your Essential Skills and Experience Previous supply / purchasing experience. Experience using SAP / other computerised inventory control system. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills. Computer literacy skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft. Hold a current QLD drivers licence and forklift licence. Desirable Criteria Previous experience in a hospital environment supply role. Qualification in Purchasing or SAP.
