About the role Bring Your Culinary Skills to the Outback We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join us full‑time at our Lady Annie mine site, located 120 km northwest of Mount Isa, QLD. This is your chance to lead the kitchen in a dynamic environment, creating fresh and exciting dinner and crib menus while maintaining the highest standards of food safety. You’ll be catering for a 120‑room accommodation village and mine site, ensuring every meal is a highlight for our hardworking team. Point of hire Townsville Airport or Brisbane Airport *The successful applicant must provide a current Federal Police Check certificate or be willing to apply for one.* Key attributes and responsibilities 5+ years’ experience in a similar role – Remote catering experience a huge benefit. Commercial cookery background or Hospitality Industry Qualification. Demonstrated and proven budget and cost management experience. High level of QA, WH&S and Food Safety knowledge. Produce high quality, nutritious and well‑presented meals in line with client’s service guidelines. Menu design, implementation and computer literacy is essential. Excellent client liaison skills, proficiency in English is a must. Must have unrestricted QLD manual driver’s licence to drive to the site from Mt Isa airport.
