FIFO Chef | 2:2 Roster out of Townsville or Brisbane | Immediate Start Mine‑Site Chef Required For An Immediate Start We are seeking an all‑rounder Chef for a new permanent full‑time FIFO role for a mine‑site camp in Queensland. In this new role you will support our client with cooking for a team of 20. Successful applicants will have previous hospitality and cooking experience in a professional setting and excel in customer service. Any prior hospitality, kitchen‑leadership roles or mine‑site experience is highly desirable. Role Duties Prepare healthy, nutritious meals ensuring all food hygiene regulations for a team of 20+. Comply with company procedure and standards and observe mine site safety in the course of duties. Work well in a team environment and bring a positive attitude to the role. What You Can Expect On‑site accommodation included Fully‑paid 12 hour days A 2:2 roster that offers a work and lifestyle balance PPE (including safety boots provided) Highly competitive salary of up to $100k (dependent on skill level) Requirements Comfortable working autonomously Food safety awareness and certificate Hold a current driver’s licence (manual) At least 2 years of previous experience cooking a variety of different dishes, for large volumes preferably with mine site experience Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical Currently reside in Brisbane or Townsville, QLD Hold full Australian working rights (Citizenship or Permanent Residency) Candidates with experience in hospitality will have an advantage If you meet the above requirements and believe this is the opportunity for you, apply today A Little About Us True Resources is a West Australian‑based mining recruitment and mobile‑workforce agency with more than 40 years of on‑site collective operational and drilling experience.
