Join Reddam Early Learning School (ELS) in Woollahra as a Casual Early Childhood Educator, where you'll help shape the foundational years of children aged 1–5 through a rich, inquiry-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Located just a 3-minute walk from Bondi Junction , our purpose-built centre offers state-of-the‑art facilities and a nurturing environment where educators and children thrive together. As a permanent educator, you’ll work alongside passionate colleagues to deliver meaningful learning experiences that foster independence, creativity, and a love of discovery. You’ll support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through play‑based and child‑led learning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry‑driven curriculum. Observe and document children’s development to support personalised learning. Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration. Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey. Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Strong understanding of child‑led and inquiry‑based learning methodologies, with a commitment to the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Experience in early childhood education, with a demonstrated passion for supporting young children’s development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, children, and families. Adaptability and openness to continuous professional development, staying updated on best practices in early childhood education. Ability to contribute to team planning and work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive environment.
