Requirements for this role: Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $28 - $35 per hour Required Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a FOH or bar environment Current RSA certification Availability for evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts Strong communication skills, initiative, and a friendly, professional attitude Well-groomed, highly organised, and able to multitask under pressure Flexible and reliable with roster changes Pay: Casual or Part-Time | $28.12 – $35.15 per hour Award Classification: Level 4 – Food and Beverage Attendant Grade 4 Location: Mornington, VIC About the Role As a Shift Leader , you will supervise front‑of‑house and bar operations during service, ensuring standards are met and team efficiency is maintained. Responsibilities include: Leading pre‑shift briefings and managing overall service flow Supervising staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and service standards Handling guest concerns and resolving service issues professionally Managing cash handling, reconciliations, and stock monitoring Supporting management with rostering, training, and daily operational needs Upholding venue presentation, cleanliness, and health & safety standards Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and beverage service is an advantage; full training will be provided.
