Join Australia’s largest private health‑care provider. About the Role We are seeking a General Services Officer – Porter to join our team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital. This role supports the team ensuring patients can attend their therapies. Provide transportation for inpatients via wheelchairs to and from therapy. Follow a set schedule of transporting patients and work as part of the portering and therapy teams. Effectively provide assistance and support to the Portering Team Leader and the Inpatient Therapy Manager in the effective delivery of portering services within the hospital. Skills and Experience Demonstrated interpersonal and problem‑solving capabilities. Demonstrated time management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a schedule of patient transfers effectively and efficiently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High standard of customer service and a team approach. Understanding of quality improvement principles. Flexible and positive approach to work. Knowledge of patient handling principles and techniques. Remuneration On offer is an hourly rate of $27.20 plus superannuation based on experience level and qualifications. (Note: exclusive of penalties or allowances.)
