About the role We are seeking an experienced Flooding and Drainage Engineer to join our team in Wollongong. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and as a part of a team under the direction of Senior Engineers on Flooding and Drainage projects, documentation and reporting. Skills and experience Minimum level of MIEAust (3+ years post-graduate experience) and working toward CPEng status with Engineers Australia. Higher salary packages may be available for exceptional candidates with more than the requisite experience. Candidates should be competent with software packages including AutoCAD, TU-FLOW, HEC-RAS, QGIS, 12D, WBNM, DRAINS and have a thorough understanding of drainage and flooding. Candidates shall be capable of autonomously producing flood models, flood maps and reports using TU-FLOW, QGIS and AutoCAD. Candidates should have a solid working knowledge of Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2019. Able to work autonomously and within a team environment. Good communication and rapport skills with clients. Good written communication and report writing skills. Valid Australian Drivers License.
