Technical Solutions Consultant (Payments) At EML Payments, we’re shaping the future of payments technology by creating exceptional, instant, and secure payment solutions. As a global leader, we develop innovative alternatives to traditional banking. The Role As a Technical Solutions Consultant in our Client Onboarding team, you’ll bridge technology and client success. This client‑facing role owns the entire onboarding experience—from discovery and solution design to delivery and post‑implementation review. Key Responsibilities Serve as subject‑matter expert for EML’s payment products and API‑first platform. Partner with clients to understand objectives and design aligned solutions. Lead discovery sessions, document requirements, and prepare program specifications. Present solutions, run demos, and facilitate technical discussions. Scope customization requests with the Product team. Own projects—manage scope, timelines, deliverables, and serve as primary contact. Coordinate cross‑functional delivery with Product, Development, Risk, Legal, Finance. Identify & mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security frameworks. Conduct post‑implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement. Work with Sales to scope solutions and respond to RFPs. Provide product feedback and recommend enhancements. Analyze performance and recommend process optimizations. What you’ll bring Strong technical understanding and the ability to translate client requirements into solutions. Proven experience in project management and stakeholder management. Ownership mindset, accountability, and trusted relationship building. Track record of delivering client projects. Attention to detail and structured documentation. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑technical audiences. Curiosity and problem‑solving mindset. Interest in risk, compliance, and legal frameworks. Background in payments, fintech or API‑driven platforms preferred. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or related field (or equivalent). Must Haves Communicate complex concepts simply. Knowledge of API integration and payments scheme compliance. High attention to detail, proactive, and self‑starter. Confidence in managing difficult stakeholders. What you’ll be offered Competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience.
