Senior Scientific Recruitment Consultant Fuse Recruitment is a growing Australian recruitment company with a strong reputation for delivering a premium recruitment service to our specialist industry partners. One of our key markets is Science and Pharmaceutical, and due to continued growth and demand, we are now seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne team. As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of an established and active desk, collaborating with a high‑performing team of specialist Scientific Consultants. You’ll play a key role in driving business growth by providing a seamless, end‑to‑end recruitment service to an existing portfolio of clients while continuing to identify and develop new opportunities within our specialist markets. Key Responsibilities: Partner with clients to take comprehensive job briefs and provide strategic advice on market trends and talent availability Deliver high‑quality recruitment solutions across permanent, temporary, and contract roles Proactively identify, attract, and secure specialist talent within the Science and Pharmaceutical sectors Manage the full recruitment process from search and selection through to onboarding and post‑placement support Negotiate employment offers and facilitate successful outcomes for both clients and candidates Drive business development activity, leveraging your network to expand market presence and client relationships Maintain compliance and uphold professional standards at all stages of the recruitment process About You: 5+ years’ recruitment experience, ideally within the Scientific or Pharmaceutical sectors Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue and performance targets Strong commercial acumen and a strategic approach to client and candidate management Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills A collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead by example and mentor others A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification will be highly regarded On offer is a truly supportive and enjoyable work environment, genuine career progression opportunities including a path to leadership, regular social activities, and the chance to represent a highly respected brand in the market.
