Job Description Location : Sydney CBD NSW Salary Package : $125K - $135K Super Role highlights : Commercial Analyst role for a fast-paced market leading FMCG business Role Overview Exclusive to Reo Group this is a highly exciting and commercially focussed role within a leading FMCG business. The focus will be on Business Partnering with Marketing Sales and Operations teams and be responsible for providing commercial support on Brand strategies including NPD as well as optimisation of the current portfolio which contains some of the largest brands in the group. Where the client is looking to achieve value in this hire is with someone who can be involved in providing decision support as well as being able to provide intelligent insights to enable them to make commercial recommendations to improve business performance. Responsibilities Support the Sales and Marketing teams ensuring adequate commercial partnering and oversight to achieve objectives Responsible for financials relating to NPD within the portfolio and ensuring all projects have been reviewed prior to approval Providing insights to the profitability of brands partnering the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure the optimisation of these Continuously improve the financial evaluation process to ensure the commercial teams are set up with the right tools to make informed decisions Lead Marketing and Sales forecast process ensuring all inputs are received timely providing accurate information around pricing and trading terms Providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis to the Marketing and Sales teams on forecast changes. Manage the month end close for Sales and Marketing activities including processing accruals Own the Brand and Customer P&L reports and provide an accurate view of performance Ad-hoc tasks around IT related projects and potential M&A activities Candidate Profile This role is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate with prior exposure in a highly Commercial environment who is looking to push their career forward in a large FMCG business. The ideal candidate will be ideally be CA / CPA Qualified and it is desired for this role that the candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with Senior stakeholders from non-financial backgrounds as well as being able to demonstrate their ability to use their commercial acumen to provide recommendations and drive value through their analysis and insights utilising their systems skills including MS Excel to an advanced level.
