The role ensures that prospective customers are matched with the right solutions, driving strong conversion rates, accurate scoping, and seamless transitions into implementation. As a senior leader within the Customer Value organisation, this position defines the global Customer Presales strategy and ensures operational excellence across all regions. It focuses on enabling consultative, solution‑driven selling that effectively positions our platform, builds customer confidence, and accelerates business growth. Key focus areas Leading a high‑performing, scalable, global presales organisation Consistent, high‑quality solution assessments and proposals aligned to customer needs Improve sales conversion rates and reduce time‑to‑close Seamless collaboration and transition between Sales and Implementation Standardising presales frameworks, tools, and best practices globally Strong cross‑functional alignment and trusted relationships across the business Successful integration of AI and automation within global presales operations, resulting in measurable improvements in solution quality, response speed, and customer engagement Leadership & People Management Lead, coach, and develop a global team of Customer Presales leaders and consultants to deliver consistent, high‑quality presales outcomes Establish clear structures, responsibilities, performance expectations and metrics across regions Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and solution excellence Global Presales Strategy Define and execute the global Customer Presales strategy, aligned with organisational growth and sales objectives Build scalable frameworks, methodologies, and tools for discovery, qualification, and solution design Standardise processes for assessing client fit, solution tailoring, and handover to Implementation teams Set key performance metrics for presales effectiveness, including conversion rates, proposal quality, and customer satisfaction Solution Design & Enablement Ensure all proposed solutions are technically feasible, commercially viable, and aligned with the platform roadmap Oversee global governance of solution design standards, pricing inputs, and documentation quality Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation to ensure long‑term scalability and success of proposed solutions Drive continuous improvement of presales processes and playbooks to enhance efficiency and impact Stakeholder Management & Collaboration Partner closely with Sales leadership to align presales priorities with pipeline and revenue goals Represent the presales function in cross‑functional leadership forums, advocating for customer and market insights Work with Product and Marketing to ensure alignment between customer needs, product capabilities, and go‑to‑market positioning Maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Product and CX Operational Excellence Implement global systems and reporting mechanisms to monitor performance, workload, and forecasting accuracy Optimise resource allocation and efficiency across regions Ensure consistent presales engagement quality, regardless of geography or segment Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement AI Innovation & Enablement Drive the adoption and integration of AI‑powered tools and methodologies within the Customer Presales function to enhance efficiency, insight generation, and customer engagement Champion a data‑driven, AI‑enabled culture across the global Presales team, ensuring continuous innovation and competitive advantage Who you are To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact.
