About the Role We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Keperra, Fortitude Valley & Moreton Bay Region Supporting our clients requires an empathetic approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate very clearly. You will be supported by an experienced team leader and have access to additional training to manage the complexities of this role. How Will I Help? You will empower clients to achieve their goals and support them with individual care needs in areas such as wellbeing, housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, daily activities, and community participation. Experience in managing behaviours, and developing person-centered positive relationships will be key. Ability to manage 1:1 shifts Be available to work short shifts At least 6 months of local work experience in the Disability Sector Experience and confidence assisting with all Personal Care requirements is essential Experience with Hoisting (1:1) Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Blue Card Drivers Licence All applicants must be willing to obtain the relevant mandatory screening clearances.
