About the Team Our Corporate lawyers have represented participants in some of Australia's largest transactions and provided advice on the implementation of company transforming deals. We act as a trusted advisor to ASX‑listed and multi‑national corporations, Private Equity firms, fund managers, leading overseas law firms, issuers and underwriters, and start‑ups. We help our clients navigate through all aspects of its commercial ventures, including Private & Public M&A transactions, Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions, Capital Raisings, Corporate Governance and Foreign Investment, and Investment Funds. Our Partners specialise in a wide range of projects and transactions, predominantly in the tech, energy and resources, consumer goods, transport and financial services sectors. About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join our Melbourne office. This role will see you play a key part on high‑profile transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and capital raisings. You will be involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating core transaction documents; managing due diligence reviews; project‑managing specialist teams’ delivery of advice; and performing legal research on complex issues. In return, you will receive on‑the‑job training and mentoring from two of Australia's leading specialists in the corporate sector, Sophia Bobeff and Simon Haddy. You will also have the opportunity to train and mentor junior lawyers. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, energetic, and commercially‑minded lawyer to play a meaningful role in interesting and complex commercial transactions. About You Deliver legal advice with a commercial and client focused outlook, always; Work well under pressure, meet your deadlines and excel working in a team; Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and you use them effectively, internally and externally; Take a collaborative, positive and energetic approach to everything you do; Have 4+ years PQE corporate law experience in private practice.
