Employment Details Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Health Manager Level 1 Remuneration: $44.29 - $58.92 per hour, plus superannuation Hours Per Week: 14 Requisition ID: REQ Location: Randwick, Sydney Applications close date: 14 December 2025 Key Responsibilities Provide high‑level specialty support for the management of consumers of the EDAU, ESMHS on Prince of Wales Hospital campus, to support efficient and effective operation of the unit. Use lived experience of mental health challenges and personal recovery journey to develop empathic relationships and support personal recovery, applying recovery‑oriented and trauma‑informed principles. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to clinical care planning processes and service delivery. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders for the Peer workforce and consumer participation. Adapt work practices to meet current and emerging business needs. Determine priorities and manage tasks to achieve work objectives within the multidisciplinary team. Selection Criteria Relevant qualifications in Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or equivalent lived experience. Demonstrated knowledge of personal/lived experience as a consumer of mental health services and ability to use this experience to support others. Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team and actively contribute to clinical care planning within allocated timeframes. Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to contribute to strategic service planning and policy development. Flexibility and adaptability to meet current and emerging business needs. Current driver’s licence or willingness to travel as required. Ability to determine priorities and manage tasks to achieve work objectives. Additional Information and Benefits An eligibility list may be created for future Permanent Part Time positions.
