Sales Operations Manager

About the role Height Dynamics is a leading provider of height safety solutions. With a mix of national accounts and a strong ecommerce presence, we’re a trusted partner for clients requiring height safety equipment and services across Australia. Based at our office in Albion, QLD, this full‑time role will see you representing our CEO's directives, guiding teams, overseeing initiatives and supervising our day‑to‑day business operations to ensure compliance with our business processes. What you'll be doing This isn’t your run‑of‑the‑mill management gig. Reporting directly to the CEO, we’re looking for someone who can cut through the noise, focus on what truly moves the needle, and lead with both insight and initiative. Day‑to‑day you will: Supervise the customer service team to ensure seamless delivery of products, services and support requests including the daily WIP. Facilitate weekly sales meetings monitoring the pipeline opportunities, sales metrics and performance dashboards. Be the first point‑of‑contact for team members, proactively addressing any queries or concerns. Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, forecasting, and stock accuracy according to our daily buy report. Use your leadership skills to work with our compliance and equipment inspection team leader. Help manage the ecommerce store, ensuring products, categories, and promotions are current and accurate. Work with our Salesperson and Product Specialist to complete tenders on time, in scope and that have the greatest chance of succeeding. The skills we need You don’t need to have previous experience in the industry (though it helps). However, we do require someone with a demonstrable background within the technical, industrial or service industries and a proven affinity for operations or sales management. You will also be a quick learner with a bright personality. For you, problem‑solving is not a problem. We really are looking for someone with the nous and the get‑up and go to make this role their own. A great delegator but not scared of rolling up the sleeves and pitching in when required. Professional, self‑confident and totally at ease communicating with all types of people. Experienced with CRM (any type of CRM will do as we’ll teach you the specifics of ours) and know the basics of ecommerce. Inquisitive and have a genuine interest in sales, operations and business management. Enthusiastic for new challenges in a unique industry.
