It’s about fostering positive relationships, providing a nurturing and safe home environment, supporting your colleagues and being a role model for young people in care. There are also the elements of homemaking, administration, crisis management, travel support, organisation and everything else that comes with supporting young people in a home environment. You will require either Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care).
