About the role We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialist Support Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside participants with complex needs to help them navigate the NDIS, build capacity, and access sustainable supports. You will coordinate across health, housing, justice, education, and mental health services, while also responding to crises and advocating strongly on behalf of participants. A key part of the role is fostering strong community connections, problem‑solving barriers, and ensuring services are working together to deliver wrap‑around, person‑centred care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements and best practice standards. About the practice Our clinic is an ever‑growing, multidisciplinary allied health practice that has proudly supported families across the Kimberley since August 2022. Our team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Support Coordinators, working together to deliver holistic, person‑centred care. We are based in the stunning Kimberley region of Western Australia, with offices in Broome, Derby, and Kununurra. Our services are delivered in clinics, homes, and schools, as well as through regular outreach to remote communities including Fitzroy Crossing, Bidyadanga, and Looma. We are committed to supporting participant choice and control while working in partnership with families and communities. Our clinicians and coordinators live locally, creating strong community connections. Experience and qualifications required Relevant qualifications such as Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or a related discipline. Experience working with people experiencing complex psychosocial disability or risk. A solutions‑focused, compassionate, and culturally responsive approach. Valid Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle. Current Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain). National Police Clearance & NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain). Vaccinated for Covid‑19 (recommended 3 vaccinations). Current First Aid Certificate including CPR. Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
