Junior Marketing Communications Coordinator Due to an internal team movement, we have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic marketing team within the veterinary and pet care industry . Our team currently works two days a week together in person in our Melbourne office, while working the rest of the week from home. About the role This role will be focused on the coordination of marketing communications for our online retail stores and pharmacies, including PetPA and My Vet. It will involve developing and executing marketing communications that improve performance and profitability. It will predominantly involve digital channels such as email, social media, SMS and web. Your days will be spent coordinating creative assets, monitoring and posting on social media platforms, creating templated assets in Canva, writing communications, and utilising our marketing automation platform Taguchi for building, targeting and scheduling. A little bit about you You love animals and are excited about the opportunity to work in the veterinary and pet care industry. Now that you have a degree – and perhaps some marketing experience – under your belt, you’re ready to really flex your muscles. You possess a natural ability for writing engaging content. You have a good eye for the little things, whether it be a typo, a double space or an off-centre image. Though creative, you don’t shy away from the technical stuff and are happy to build emails with complex email targeting and work with spreadsheets. While you enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a team, you also pride yourself on being self‑motivated to keep on top of deadlines. You’re an organised multi‑tasker who loves to learn, and thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. It would be an advantage if you live with a pet and have worked in the retail industry. Familiarity with Canva and a marketing automation platform – such as Taguchi, Emarsys, Salesforce or Marketo – would be a bonus.
