The Opportunity As the Learning and Development Advisor at the City of Perth, you will design and deliver programs that build skills, support safety, and drive performance across the City. In this role, you’ll translate business priorities into practical learning solutions, helping employees grow while contributing to the organisation’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Workforce and Development Lead within our People and Culture team, your responsibilities would primarily include: Lead the design and delivery of learning programs aligned with the City’s strategic priorities and workforce needs. Coordinate and manage training initiatives, workshops, and talent development programs to build organisational capability. Provide expert L&D advice to stakeholders, supporting leadership, performance development, and workforce planning. Ensure compliance, monitor learning outcomes, and manage budgets, records, and training provider relationships. About You To succeed in this role, you will possess: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or related discipline) and a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Experience developing, coordinating, and implementing learning and development programs and frameworks for diverse workforces. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and confident facilitation, training delivery, and presentation skills. Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
