Data Analyst – FMCG Trade Spend & Forecasting We’re seeking a skilled Data Analyst for a 6-month contract to support our client in the FMCG sector, focusing on Trade Spend Management, Sales Demand Forecasting, and Trade Promotions Analysis. You’ll work closely with our client’s Sales and Commercial teams to build actionable insights, data lakes, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Dynamics 365. This is a hands‑on role requiring deep domain knowledge in FMCG and experience building cubes, semantic models, and reports that drive commercial decisions. What You’ll Do Analyse and optimise Trade Spend and Promotional effectiveness using historical and forecasted data. Build and maintain Sales Demand Forecasting models in collaboration with Sales teams. Develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business KPIs. Design and implement data lakes and curated datasets using Microsoft Fabric. Build and maintain cubes and semantic models for reporting and analysis. Integrate and analyse data from Dynamics 365, and other commercial systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across reporting assets. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in FMCG data analysis , working directly with Sales and Commercial teams. Strong hands‑on skills with Microsoft Fabric , Dynamics 365 . Expertise in Power BI , including DAX, data modelling, and report building. Experience building data lakes , cubes, and semantic layers for reporting. Solid understanding of Trade Spend , Promotions , and Forecasting in FMCG. Strong SQL and data transformation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
