Human Resources Officer

Lifewood is seeking an experienced and well-rounded Human Resources Officer to join our team in Osborne Park. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role suited to an HR professional with approximately 6 years’ overall HR experience and strong end-to-end HR generalist capability . You will play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, strengthening HR systems, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a high-performing, values-driven culture. About the Role Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end HR generalist support , including: Managing the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, employment changes, and exits Leading end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, job ads, interviews, and offers Preparing and maintaining employment contracts, HR documentation, and employee records Advising managers on performance management, probation reviews, disciplinary matters, and terminations Supporting employee relations, grievances, and workplace investigations Ensuring compliance with Fair Work, awards, and Australian employment legislation Developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures Coordinating training, inductions, and capability development initiatives Supporting HR reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Contributing to culture, engagement, and values-based people practices About You You will be a strong fit if you have: Approximately 6 years’ experience in Human Resources Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation Experience handling performance management and employee relations matters Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Clear and confident communication skills Ability to work autonomously while partnering with leadership High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism Highly Regarded Experience in construction, manufacturing, or trade-based environments Exposure to HR systems, reporting, or process improvement Experience supporting growing or entrepreneurial businesses Why Lifewood?
