And now, we're looking for an organised and proactive Events & Content Coordinator to join us. About the Role This hybrid role focuses primarily on hands‑on event coordination, supported by content creation, storytelling, and some light design work. With flexible work hours and the option to work part‑time or full‑time, this role is designed to support balance while doing meaningful work. You’ll lead the strategy, planning, and execution of events for key clients, including Timber Insight and Toby for Childhood Cancer. From intimate community gatherings to large‑scale activations, you’ll manage every detail – logistics, vendors, ticketing platforms, attendee communication, and on‑the‑day delivery. Alongside events, you’ll help bring stories to life across social media through engaging content, simple design assets, and thoughtful messaging. Key Responsibilities Event Coordination & Management Plan and deliver events end‑to‑end, including timelines, budgets, logistics, venues, and vendor management. Manage event ticketing platforms, registration systems, guest lists, and communications. Lead on‑the‑day event coordination and act as the primary contact. Liaise with speakers, suppliers, entertainment, and volunteers. Build and maintain event schedules and project timelines. Ensure events align with brand values and community goals. Manage post‑event wrap‑ups, including reports, thank‑yous, and debriefs. Content & Social Media Support Manage social media content for Timber Insight and Asset Worx. Develop and contribute to content calendars Create simple, engaging content such as Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, basic graphics, photography, and captions. Use analytics tools to track performance and provide insights. Support storytelling and creative campaign execution; collaborate with the team to bring ideas to life. Light Design Work Create simple event and social assets (e.g., tiles, flyers, banners, event collateral). Prepare templates and files for digital use. Maintain organised design and content libraries. About You We're looking for someone who is: Highly organised with strong project management skills. Exceptional at time and priority management. Detail‑driven, reliable, and proactive. A clear and respectful communicator. Confident working both independently and within a small, collaborative team. Passionate about meaningful work and positive impact. Desirable Skills (Not Essential) Basic design skills (Canva or similar). Strong copywriting skills. Understanding of social media content best practices. Experience in events, community organisations, or not‑for‑profit environments. Photography or videography skills (mobile content is fine).
