Apex Australia Higher Education – Sydney CBD NSW The Marketing & Student Recruitment Officer will work closely with agents, students and the Vocational and Higher Education marketing team to promote the APEX brand and achieve student recruitment and enrolment targets. The role is primarily, focused on servicing the local and interstate international onshore student market through relationship management with internal and external stakeholders. The role is also responsible for handling direct prospective student enquiries and conducting preliminarily assessments and support the preparation of the student application documents. Key responsibilities and duties: Support new Higher Education student enrolments, including the implementation of conversion initiatives. Support the marketing team to design and implement effective marketing and student recruitment initiatives, campaigns and strategies to promote the APEX brand, identify market opportunities and consistently grow student numbers. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing offshore and onshore agents, international and domestic partners, and other stakeholders, including processing agent agreements and related documentation. Support the admissions process, including monitoring leads and conversions, and as required, assisting with student applications and enrolment management. Assist in creating and distribute promotional and marketing materials. Assist in generating, monitoring, and analysing data to support strategic decision‑making. Maintain compliance records and documentation and support the marketing team to regularly conduct audit activities related to marketing and enrolments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Remain up to date with international student markets, opportunities and government policies locally and internationally. As a Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer you are expected to have: Minimum 2-year professional experience in international student recruitment. Strong connections in the Asian market including Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Medium knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). Good understanding of multi‑channel marketing in the international education sector. Strong understanding of the ELICOS, VET, and Higher Education sectors and Australian immigration policies. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targeted student numbers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with industry partners, agents, and students. Basic digital literacy skills for creating marketing materials, sourcing data, and handling documents through various reporting channels. Organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure. Open to travel interstate or overseas if required. Familiar with Australian government regulatory requirements related to international education. Knowledge of IT and related student administration systems. Experience using Customer Relationship Management System (CRM). IT skills associated with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
