Your new role We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Information Services team as the Team Leader on a full-time fixed term, until 02/07/26, basis. Reporting to the Director – Information & Digital Services, the role will manage Information Services staff and is responsible for the life‑cycle administration and management of IBAC’s correspondence that is received, distributed, stored, archived and destroyed by the Information Services team and IBAC staff. Duties include: Manages a team of Records Management staff ensuring that they are directed towards the achievement of defined business outcomes by providing clear expectations and a sense of direction to staff including leadership and guidance as well as conducting informal training to develop the capability of the team. Manages and leads complex projects which contribute to continuous improvement of information and records management systems and structure, ensuring that the system architecture supports other business units in recording correspondence. Provide specialist advice to the Director, Information & Digital Services and Management in developing records management procedures for the Unit in accordance with Victorian public sector policy. Manage serious procedural or security issues relating to records management as well as maintaining oversight of confidential files created by other units within IBAC. We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities: Minimum 5 years experiences in records management role. Significant experience in the use of records management systems preferably Content Manager (TRIM). Minimum 5 years’ experience managing administration or operation teams – with a records management focus is desirable. Significant knowledge and understanding of Victorian Government records management policies, particularly Public Records of Victoria (PROV) is desirable. Due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
