Overview Medical Assistant - Newcastle Urgent Care (Evenings) at Overlake Medical Center & Clinics. Part-time 0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week. Friday - Sunday Evenings / 11:45am to 8:15pm. Pay Range: $28.02 - $38.77 hourly. Full benefits; Sign-on bonus for new hires. Responsibilities Assist in rooming patients and triage phone calls. Assist in coordination of patient care with providers and the care team. Support a positive patient experience and maintain accurate documentation. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards. Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH required (the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6 months of hire). Current healthcare provider CPR certification required. Excellent customer service and communication skills required. Experience with EMR applications; EPIC experience preferred.
