Infrastructure & Cloud Architect Job Summary: We’re seeking Infrastructure & Cloud Architects to join our team. As the world’s interaction with technology develops, the infrastructure that supports businesses within Government and Industry is rapidly altering. We are seeking individuals who can provide leadership to our clients as they embark on this journey. Responsibilities and Duties Contribute to the development and management of continuing enterprise architecture by evaluating technology, market dynamics, and business and determining the potential influence on the company. Establishing, maintaining and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure high level requirements are transformed into effective development and engineering. Support the engineering team during design, development, and deployment by driving the architectural design of resilient solutions for our clients. Identify the need to update the technology stack to include infrastructure needs. Participating in and implementing governance processes to ensure rigorous review and contestability of technical solution designs and traceability to detailed implementation and testing. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor degree in IT, computer engineering or similar. Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field. Expertise with green field compute design. Demonstrable experience building and deploying replication, restoration, or data backup. Experience dealing with public cloud services. Must have an in-depth understanding of Azure and AWS solution elements, costings and deployment. Demonstrable experience designing and establishing disaster recovery for hybrid environments. Azure Cloud infra certification is preferred. Must be able to collaborate with diverse teams of architects and engineers across customers and vendors to comprehend the need and accomplish the setup. Able to guide clients on the best price tier for their project depending on the project requirements. Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to Client staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Client’s recordkeeping policy and practices. Must hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA). Seniority Level Mid-Senior level. Employment Type Full-time. Job Function Engineering and Information Technology.
