Apply now Job no: JR Work type: PermanentLocation: Joondalup Health CampusCategories: Administration/Support Services About the Role As we progress towards completion of the $190 million private expansion in early 2026, Joondalup Health Campus is growing our dedicated admissions team. We are seeking motivated and customer-focused Private Admission Officers to support our private patient services. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will provide high-quality support through a mix of patient interaction and administrative responsibilities. You will be a welcoming first point of contact for our private patients while applying strong organisational, financial, and problem-solving skills. Working both autonomously and collaboratively with our wider hospital teams, you will contribute directly to a positive and seamless private patient journey. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner. Ensure accuracy of patient details and maintain up-to-date electronic records. Manage private patient admissions and pre-admissions using relevant hospital systems. Liaise with patients, health funds, and insurers regarding private health cover and entitlements. Complete eligibility checks and prepare Informed Financial Consent forms. Process payments and maintain confidentiality in line with hospital policies. Answer and direct telephone enquiries courteously and efficiently. Support a collaborative, dynamic working environment and manage tasks independently as needed. Selection Criteria Commitment to the Ramsay Way core values and delivering exceptional patient service. Strong attention to detail with high standards of accuracy. Confident computer skills, including competence in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands. Ability to work both independently and as a supportive team member. Experience in hospital, medical, or customer service administration. Knowledge of private health insurance and medical billing processes. Familiarity with patient administration systems such as Meditech. Renumeration: On offer is a base rate ranging from $34.47 - $38.42 + superannuation, based on qualifications and experience (RHC WA PACT EA).
