Dental Assistants – Permanent Part-time at our Kempsey, Port Macquarie & Taree Clinics Join a supportive team making a difference in patient care. About the role You will play a vital role in supporting our dentists chairside and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include: Chairside assisting during dental procedures, learning the materials, steps, and instruments for each treatment Sterilising instruments and maintaining dental instruments and equipment per infection control standards Managing stock and clinical supplies Greeting patients and ensuring a positive patient experience Providing enthusiastic, compassionate support to patients, especially those who may feel nervous. Performing administrative tasks as required, including answering phone calls What we are looking for Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate A willingness to undertake further training and education (certificate 111 in Dental assisting) Excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and attention to detail Reliability, empathy, and professionalism Availability to work across both Kempsey and Port Macquarie locations What we offer At Prakhya Dental, we are committed to providing a positive and supportive work environment that promotes work–life balance.
