Set in the heart of Surfers Paradise and on the doorstep of the famous Surfers Paradise Beach, Riverland Hospitality Pty Ltd's Island Gold Coast boutique hotel is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy functions team. This position roster includes weekend and evening hours. This is an excellent opportunity for a career‑minded individual with a strong work ethic, passion for food and excellent communication skills to join this evolving company. Skills and Experience Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking. Follow venue menu planning for preparation and cooking. Strong knowledge of preparation and presentation. Confident in filling breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts. A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach. Strong and detailed business acumen for kitchen operations. Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organized environment where team members take pride in their work. Excellent organisational skills. Motivated, with a drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best. Mentor staff and apprentices. Qualifications At least 3 years experience in a similar role. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma / Diploma. 3 years relevant experience in a busy restaurant.
