Job Summary Flexible hours available Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience required Hourly rate: $32.00 Expected working hours: 38–45 hours per week We are Hero Sushi , a multi-venue business with a strong presence in the Australian market for Japanese-style restaurants. We are seeking to add further talent to our team at our Hornsby Train branch in Sydney’s North. Having operated successfully for years, we constantly strive to improve, aiming not only to satisfy but to delight our valued guests from the community. We lead our teams with a win-win mindset — this philosophy forms the foundation of everything we do. We want our people to grow and prosper alongside our business, while creating joyful experiences for our guests. We are looking for a driven, creative, and charismatic leader with experience in both kitchen and front-of-house operations to help our team meet today’s demands and future challenges. You will start with approximately a 2-month training and brand assimilation period , to ensure you understand our expectations and standards. This will give you a strong foundation for long-term success. Those who excel may be given the opportunity to oversee multiple locations and take on higher responsibilities, as we prefer to promote from within. Key Responsibilities Lead a dynamic team of 15–20 members across kitchen and front-of-house operations Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills Nurture team talent and promote a positive team culture Lead the team to exceed company standards in hospitality and food qualityManage KPIs and daily operations efficiently Organize staff shifts and scheduling to ensure smooth operations Deliver excellent customer service and lead by example Ensure all food safety procedures and workplace safety standards are maintained Recruit, train, and mentor staff Basic computer literacy required Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in a management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry Experience in restaurant operations (willing to learn further if required) Desirable Qualifications Diploma in Hospitality Management Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to the Hero Sushi team #J-18808-Ljbffr
