About the role Production ManagerThis is a full-time Pastry Chef / Decorator role at Boronia Bakehouse in Gladesville, NSW. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious pastries and desserts to delight our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity in a fast-paced bakery environment in charge of 2/3 Chefs. What you'll be doing Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts to the highest standard Decorating baked goods with intricate piping, icing, and other finishing touches Ensuring all products are presented beautifully and meet quality standards Collaborating with the bakery team to develop new and innovative pastry items Maintaining a clean and organised work station Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations What we're looking for At least 3-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Decorator in a commercial bakery or restaurant environment Strong knowledge of baking techniques, flavour combinations, and plating/decorating styles Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Good problem‑solving and communication skills A passion for creating high‑quality, visually appealing baked goods A relevant culinary qualification or certification What we offer At Boronia Bakehouse, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive, collaborative, and fun work environment.
