You’ll see what a difference your furry friend can make. You’ll love this volunteer opportunity to chat and get to know residents. Volunteering with us is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only do you have an impact on the people you spend time with, but you’ll learn a lot and meet new people. We’ll provide training and ongoing support. Pet Requirements Calm, patient & gentle in nature Up-to-date with vaccinations & treatment of worms & fleas Nails are short & blunt. Freshly cut nails should be filed. Dogs must be on a lead. Category Seniors & Aged Care Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Type of Work Companionship & Social Support Driving & Transportation Seniors & Aged Care Time Required 1-2 hours per week.
