We are seeking a Breakfast Announcer to join Power FM on the NSW Upper Hunter Region in Muswellbrook to host the Power FM breakfast show . With a loyal listener base, your role is to start their day with a fun, engaging, and entertaining show that they’ll want to be part of. You are also passionate about connecting with listeners by developing fun & engaging promotional moments that build strong connections with our listeners and the greater community. About the role Host the Power FM breakfast show 6am-9am weekdays. Plan, research, prepare audio, edit promos, and determine the best delivery of content for the breakfast show Design and execute creative campaigns that make our stations shine. Engage with listeners through unique promotions, actively executing in-market contests, and contributing to unforgettable live & local events. Be responsible for working with and assisting the Content Director to drive and execute the station’s overall strategy Build strong connections with our communities while having a ton of fun About you On-Air experience, including working knowledge of Zetta is ideal. Breakfast experience preferred but not essential. A fun, energetic, and creative thinker who loves tackling new challenges and contributes great content ideas. A basic knowledge of digital media products, including social media, content marketing and digital audience engagement. Genuine interest in pop culture, sport, & news topics relevant to the Power FM audience and can demonstrate an acute understanding of digital media consumption for the Power FM audience profile and what interests them.
