We currently have a rare opportunity to join the WAVE 96.5 team as our Promotions Coordinator to proactively support the Promotions Manager in creating and activating innovative campaigns originating from content & sales to achieve optimum profitability, enhanced ratings and meet the marketing and communications objectives of all client briefs. About the role Support the WAVE FM 96.5 Promotions Manager in the planning, set up, activation and post-campaign reporting of all station promotions. Coordinate with Content / Sales Teams to craft the overall listener experience and campaigns that are on brand, on time and on budget. Regularly liaise with Content / Sales Teams to discuss opportunities, ideas and communicate upcoming campaigns in collaboration with the Promotions Manager. Assist internal teams to ensure they are briefed on campaign requirements including our Content Director, Announcers, Digital, and Content team members. Maintain accurate and up-to-date promotional documents, templates, trackers, and calendars to provide efficient administrative support. Coordinate prize sourcing and fulfilment for the station, including all winner's coordination & communication. Assist with writing and valuing proactive promotional proposals and reactive responses for sponsorship. Coordinate activities of the Street Team, ensuring smooth execution of promotional events. On occasion, operate broadcast equipment to support live or recorded segments. Work closely with the Promotions Manager to ensure smooth execution of all promotional activities. About you Minimum of 1 year in a similar environment – radio, TV or media promotions would be highly regarded. A qualification in marketing and / or event management would be highly regarded. Able to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and engage effectively with key stakeholders at all levels. Will be highly accountable and demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong business financial literacy with proven experience in trackers, coupled with an analytical mindset with ability to measure, report, and learn from results.
