About the Orange Door The Orange Door Partnership aims to address the needs of all Victorians who experience or use Family Violence as well as families who need support in relation to child wellbeing. The NEMA and HMA Orange Doors are integrated intake and assessment services that is the referral pathway to a range of services including Integrated Family Services, Specialist Women’s Family Violence Services, Men’s Behaviour Change and other services. About the opportunity The Practitioner – Adults Using Family violence is a clinical position responsible for providing specialist family violence responses primarily to people who use violence. The position may also include providing specialist family violence responses to victim survivors and child wellbeing support depending on service needs. Responsibilities Provide specialist family violence intake assessment and referral responses primarily to men using violence. Provide specialist family violence responses to victim survivors and child wellbeing support depending on service needs. Requirements Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) Victoria Police Check Current Victorian Driver’s License Hold a Bachelor of Social Work, Eligible for membership of AASW OR at least 5 years relevant experience and be working towards meeting recommendation 209 – social work degree Experience within the family violence sector including experience working with men using violence or other relevant experience that demonstrates capacity to undertake the role. A passion for integrated service delivery, service reform and improving outcomes for women, children and families.
