About The Role As a Delegate Sales Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in driving attendance and commercial success across RX Australia's flagship conference-led exhibitions. You'll proactively engage decision-makers from top companies across Australia and New Zealand to sell delegate passes and boost event participation. Reporting to our Sales Director, this is a permanent full-time opportunity to be based in Sydney with hybrid working available. Responsibilities Drive Delegate Sales – Sell delegate passes to targeted senior decision‑makers across multiple events. Lead Generation & Prospecting – Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and engage new prospects. CRM & Reporting – Maintain accurate records and track progress through our CRM system. Market Insight – Stay across key industry trends to tailor your approach and add value to conversations. Pipeline Activity – Meet daily outreach targets through calls, emails, and follow‑ups. Requirements 2–3 years' experience in a sales role, ideally within the events, conferences, or exhibitions sector. Comfortable with cold calling, and confident in building rapport and overcoming objections. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Degree‑qualified or equivalent work experience. Energetic, driven, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams. Bonus points for experience selling B2B or within the corporate training, professional services, or media sectors.
