Heat and Control is a privately‑owned, global manufacturer of industrial food processing and packaging equipment. Reporting to the Group Electrical Manager, you will be managing a team of experienced Electrical Project Engineers responsible for delivering green and brownfield projects from sales hand‑over to installation and commissioning. Electrical Project Engineering Manager – Lead and motivate a high‑performing team. Responsibilities Leading the planning and conduct of engineering activities and providing technical leadership to the electrical project engineering team for the successful delivery of industrial food processing systems. Managing the entire electrical project lifecycle including design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. Ensuring required engineering products and activities are produced in accordance with approved procedures, within allocated budgets, and meet or exceed quality standards. Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams – mechanical, electrical, project managers, fabrication, logistics and commissioning – to ensure seamless delivery of our equipment. Managing risk, identifying potential issues, and developing mitigation plans to ensure successful project completion. Fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the project engineering team. Developing and implementing engineering strategies that align with the company's business objectives and goals. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering. RPEQ and CPEng. At least 5 years' experience leading a team of electrical engineers delivering solutions in control systems and automated equipment design. Related experience in the food processing industry is highly regarded. Sound knowledge of electrical engineering standards. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation in all forms. Exceptional work ethic and the ability to work to organisational values.
