Aerodrome Ground Handler

Work Location: Pilbara, Western Australia. 2 roles on offer - both 6 month Fixed Term Contracts. The Aerodrome Ground Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft and passengers at Fortescue’s aerodrome. Working as part of a small, high‑performing team, you will support ramp operations, passenger check‑in, aerodrome maintenance tasks, and general duties that contribute to the smooth daily running of the facility. Key Responsibilities Carry out daily aircraft ground‑handling operations in line with airline standards and procedures, including ramp and check‑in functions. Provide high levels of customer service for all scheduled aircraft movements. Perform aerodrome maintenance activities such as cleaning, weeding, painting, minor repairs and general upkeep. Complete tasks aligned to your skill set as directed by the Aerodrome Supervisor. Maintain safety, compliance and service standards at all times. Qualifications and Experience Relevant experience and qualifications in ground handling for F100, B712, A320, A319 and B738 aircraft. Strong customer service capability. Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities. Effective communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups. Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality service delivery. Competency in MS Office, SAP, online induction systems and workflow tools. About Us Be part of something big.
