Overview Contract: Full Time, PermanentSalary: 12.95 Per HourHours: 40 per week A co-educational independent boarding school in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, for children aged between 12 and 18 years. Catering for just under 400 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and Supper with some high end hospitality and summer lets as well. As this is a boarding school, it operates 7 days a week so working patterns would be 5 out of 7 days. There is free parking available at the school. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Perth . You\'ll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage Great team player Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems. Operate industrial dishwasher Qualifications Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential. Organisation Skills. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
