Our Values Play your part for the team. Strive for a better answer. About the Sales Team The sales team spans a broad range of customers, sales channels and geography. They serve as the day‑to‑day face of the brand, establishing and growing relationships with key dealer channel partners and national key account customers. Their focus is to provide trusted advice, helping solve the challenges of commercial kitchen operators with Comcater products and services. We have sales offices with equipment showrooms and demonstration kitchens in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, where dealers and customers can experience our products. The team heavily emphasizes being trusted advisors to both end customers and dealer partners, offering insight and advice on smart solutions for commercial kitchens. About The Role The Sales Coordinator supports the region’s sales by coordinating sales administration and customer relationship management for the Northern Region. The role serves as a direct link between field representatives, customers and the Company for sales planning and activities, helping to achieve and exceed the Company’s short- and long‑term sales expectations. Key Relationships Internal Western Regional Manager and Sales team; other Comcater personnel and departments as required. External End users. Key Responsibilities Perform administrative, product, service and sales support activities for the Northern Region Sales and Rational Team. Prospect for specific sales & marketing campaigns when necessary, qualifying appointments via telephone and CRM software. Maintain statistics on incoming phone leads in the “Phone Leads” email inbox. Maintain, qualify and update Northern Region customer contacts and activities in Salesforce. Filter all incoming, unqualified sales calls and leads (including showroom enquiries), recording leads and opportunities in CRM and redirecting them timely to the appropriate sales personnel. Organise, coordinate and administer invitations and bookings for all Northern Region sales and rational events. Book and organise dealer and end‑user training events. Provide quotes, letters, presentations and reports for the Regional Manager and Sales staff as required. Act on customer and branch requests for information on a regional basis. Maintain filing and other office systems. Contribute to the preparation and planning of trade shows and demonstrations as required. Assist in other areas of Comcater sales activities as requested by the Regional Manager. Demonstrate commitment to Comcater’s values and behaviour. Comply with Comcater Quality Management System ISO 9001, Work Health and Safety Policies and Company policies and objectives. Skills and Experience Sound IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite and CRM (preferably Salesforce). Excellent over‑the‑phone manner and capabilities. Experience in a sales environment is advantageous. Previous experience in the foodservice industry is advantageous. Planning, organising, prioritisation and decision‑making ability. Personal Attributes Excellent verbal and numerical skills, oral and written communication. Ability to work autonomously and independently. Ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs and provide confidence in our ability to support them and address their issues in a calm, clear and effective manner.
