Community Transport Driver Thursdays - Colac VIC 3250 Our Volunteer Transport Service allows members of the community with no means of transport to access non‑urgent medical appointments or social outings. The role: We are needing a volunteer to provide door‑to‑door transport service for an older gentleman who has no means of transport every Thursday. Your support will assist our client to access their community, enabling them to keep active and socially engaged, with a friendly chat on the drive to brighten their day. As a volunteer you will be responsible for following schedules, maintaining a friendly and professional manner and ensuring his is transported safely to their appointments. For you: Meet new people and make new friends Join a community of volunteers making a difference in your local area. Receive ongoing support and training throughout your journey Be welcomed into genUs friendly and inclusive workplace. About you: Aged 25 years and above Be available Thursdays from 8:45 am‑9:00 am and then 3:00 pm‑3:15 pm Have your own vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance, along with a current Australian driver’s licence and a safe driving history.
