Border Express is currently seeking experienced and motivated Casual Parcel Sorters to join our morning or afternoon/evening teams at the Underwood Branch. The role involves loading, unloading, and sorting parcels for dispatch. **Availability**: Must be available to work 5 days Monday – Friday. Early morning shifts commence approximately 5 am (varies). Afternoon/evening shifts commence approximately 2 pm (varies). Responsibilities Examine each parcel and allocate it into an appropriate area for delivery via postcode, destination, suburb, and/or branch. Ensure the manual load/unload of parcels from pallets is performed safely following correct manual handling procedures. Complete and maintain parcel processing records and all required documentation. Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet agreed schedules, and raise any issues related to processes, safety and operations. Skills and Experience Experience in the transport industry. Ability to adhere to WHS and Safety Regulations. Excellent attitude, strong work ethic and reliability. A high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive lifting.
