See yourself in our team The Technical Product Owner will define the vision and roadmap for initiatives within the Product Discovery & Experimentation team, utilizing technical expertise in highly complex system technologies and platforms to inform technical strategy and deliver customer and business value. Working in a triad with Engineering and Design, you will shape opportunities, translate ambiguous problems into clear priorities, and guide delivery of prototypes, pilots, and platform capabilities. This role is central to how the team helps the organisation innovate faster while also shaping tools and technologies that accelerate discovery and testing. Key Responsibilities Define and own the product vision and roadmap for discovery and experimentation initiatives. Use technical expertise in highly complex system technologies and platforms to inform technical strategy in order to achieve customer and business value Apply product and engineering expertise to balance backlog of work and platform health against future flow of work Apply modern product principles to discovery and delivery, ensuring teams are empowered and outcome-focused. Shape strategy for tools and capabilities that enable faster, scalable experimentation. Translate technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives for executives and non-technical stakeholders. We are interested in people who Posses a strong knowledge of software engineering methodology Are naturally curious and creative , comfortable working in ambiguity, and thrive in shaping solutions as well as testing feasibility. Keep their finger on the pulse of innovation and emerging technologies and can translate those into practical opportunities. Have excellent communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical detail and clear, simple messages for executives and non-technical stakeholders. Are outcome-focused, ensuring that solutions and prototypes generate measurable customer and business value. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and business partners, aligning priorities and expectations. Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement within a small, high-impact team. Technical Skills & Experience We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; Technical knowledge and aptitude across AI powered engineering, DevOps delivery, Software design and Architecture Extensive experience in product ownership or product management Strong understanding of modern product practices and demonstrated application of continuous discovery. Proven experience in defining product vision, roadmaps, and backlogs in complex technical environments. Strong technical literacy in modern system architectures (cloud, APIs, data, AI/ML awareness). Experienced in agile product development and lean experimentation practices.
