About the Role We are seeking a Senior Analyst to lead our project team and support the strategic records‑management uplift program across the organisation. In this role, you will guide the Records Management team, strengthen our data‑retention governance, and drive end‑to‑end delivery of records treatment plans. You will partner closely with senior business owners, risk representatives, and technology teams to ensure our records are managed effectively, compliantly, and in alignment with organisational and regulatory obligations. This is a high‑visibility role suited to someone who brings a blend of governance expertise, analytical capability, stakeholder leadership, and hands‑on records management experience. Key Accountabilities Team Leadership and Governance: Lead and mentor the Records Management team, set priorities, and oversee day‑to‑day data‑retention governance. Stakeholder Engagement: Run workshops with senior business owners to review and approve retention rules, while building strong cross‑divisional relationships. Risk Oversight: Direct and validate risk assessments, escalating key risks and providing expert advice on appropriate treatment approaches. Retention Rule Ownership: Maintain the DDRP Schedule with full accuracy, auditability, version control, and required sign‑offs. Business Requirements & Solution Alignment: Review and support business requirements for system‑based treatments, ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and operational standards. Impact and Risk Assessment Facilitation: Lead Business Impact and Risk Assessments, working with Line 1 Risk to resolve conflicts and define acceptable residual risk. Implementation Support: Serve as the senior SME during treatment delivery, guiding teams through execution and governance expectations. Scheduling and Compliance: Manage the master treatment schedule, validate evidence submissions across divisions, and report outcomes to Data Owners. Reporting and Executive Communication: Produce clear, concise reporting on compliance, risks, and remediation for senior leaders and audit committees. Continuous Improvement: Recommend policy, process, and tooling enhancements and champion ongoing uplift in records‑management capability. What You’ll Thrive In Strong experience in records management, data governance, or related risk/compliance functions. Proven capability in business analysis, facilitation, and requirements development. Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complex decision‑making. Experience supporting or leading data‑retention or records‑treatment initiatives. A structured, detail‑focused mindset with the ability to communicate simply and influence effectively.
